Wonderful Mother/Daughter day

I had a wonderful mother/daughter day with several of my daughters today. We went shopping in Waynseville, NC. Alyssa came home from college for the 4th holiday (She is in graduate school studying to be a physical therapist! So she can help Bree out while she is home and after she graduates, too) So I spent the day with Alyssa, Katrina, Bree, Allie and Lindsey. We got up bright and early to make the just over an hour drive. Bree was having a good day today so it was all so perfect. We went to downtown, to the Mast General store. The girls love the candy store downstairs. Bree and Allie bought matching tee-shirts, they are brown and say "Save the earth- it's the only planet with chocolate!" on the front. And of course, we bought lots of candy. The fruit slices that won't melt. We wandered around downtown some but that's the only store the kids were really interested in. Alyssa especially because of her love of hiking and outdoor activities. Bree, Allie, and Linds because of the candy. When we went to Belk's we really hit the sales. Anyone with teenage girls knows their obsession with clothes. Bree and Allie got izod shirts (they assure me that these are cool) for only 7.00. We got dresses for for Bree and Lindsey to wear to Sam's wedding. Other clothes too, all coming out less then 100.00 Allie and Lindsey have a good start for school clothes, and Bree needed some new things because of the weight she's lost, her clothes are too big for her. She was a thin girl to begin with.
We ate lunch at the Sagebrush Steakhouse, the girls love that. I am so glad for such a great day with my daughters, and looking forward to tomorrow, hoping that it's another good day for Bree too, that she will be free from seizures like she was while we are out. She has had some since getting home, but she was able to enjoy a day of shopping with me and her sisters, and that's a blessing.
