Bree is having more horrible nightmares. Last night was particularly bad. I know she is dreaming about her birth parents. We have tried, and tried to reassure her that we won't let anyone ever hurt her again. But her dreams seem so real to her. And they are, because she is remembering things that happened to her in her dreams. I wish I could take it all away from her. I want that more then anything in this world, I wish I knew how to help her get through all of this. Because of her traumatic brain injury though she may have problems separating what's real from what's only in her dreams. Because the muscle spasms from her many seizures leave her in pain a lot, and she is left bruised from falling she might think that someone HAS hurt her.
She has physical therapy today, so we'll see how that goes with the new PT. The student works with her however, and she enjoys working with the student. So I'm not sure whether the new PT will work with her at all.
