Has to be a reaction to her meds.... or that's what they tell me. Bree's doctor couldn't get her to wake up this morning, and once she did wake up, she was delirious and agitated. She kept trying to pull out her tubes. Begging to see lil Bee and other family and friends who were not here, they are all still back in Georgia. They finally gave her a sedative to try to calm her down. I did not want them to restrain her because I knew this would upset her even more. Finally she seems to be more with it but her hands are still shaking bad, she can't even hold a cup to give herself water without spilling it all over herself. She is having bad abdominal cramps, too. She is still not taking in any solids by mouth, still feeding tube only.
As for her seizures... She is still having them. They have slowed somewhat but she is still having about 4 a day and 4 or 5 at night. The phenobarb seems to help but it knocks her out and it really slows her breathing. The doctor says she can go home once she is eating again and not having any more of these "episodes" and when she regains some strength and when her blood work improves. They won't give me any time lines. It could be anywhere from 4-5 days to a week or so.
