A day at home... finally

I finally have a day at home, where I don't have to go anywhere, or take anyone else anywhere. At least, not as of yet. I hope it can remain that way. We all need days where we can just stay home and rest. Bree has had a rough morning anyway, and last night was tough, so rest is what I desperately need. I am so thankful that she is such a sweet, easy going girl. Not demanding or grumpy or ill at all, she tries so hard. She appreciates everything I or anyone else does for her. She does get frustrated sometimes but still she tries to help herself so that makes it all so much easier. We tell her each and every day that she can overcome her brain injury, even all the seizures and epilepsy and accomplish anything she sets her heart and mind to. We point out to her that her seizures are starting to decrease overall. It also helps me to see this. Especially after hard days and nights, it helps to look back on a good day and night.
We go back to the doctor next week. We will discuss the surgery one more time. If we decide to let her have it, then we will do it ASAP.
