Updates

Sorry for no updates. It has been a rough past few days. Bree developed "Acute pyenephertis" or a fancy name for a severe kidney infection. Her kidneys almost ceased function all together, but thankfully they are up and running again. It could have explained some of her agitation and confusion as well. They basically told me that she could develop septic shock, or even die from this. But she is responding to antibiotics, the fever is almost gone, and she is feeling better. She is just very weak. Right now their focus is on getting her to eat again and build up some strength so she can walk around, at least to the bathroom on her own and then she can go home. Maybe Tuesday! I sure hope so. I really want to take her home.
As for the seizures, well slight improvement but still about 6 within 24 hours. We are going to an epilepsy clinic at the Medical College of Georgia once I get her home. Now her dinner tray is here and I'm going to try to get her to eat. More later.
