Bree's physical therapy went well this time although she didn't seem to think so. (No seizures during therapy at least). She didn't particularly like the balance board, It made her feel too unsteady and she didn't like falling even though they were there to hold her steady and catch her. She says it made her dizzy, too. She did enjoy sitting and balancing on the large therapy balls though and her PT recommended we get one for home. They did some work with her testing her fine motor skills too, and with her speech. The evaluation took awhile and she was tired when they finished. They know what they need to work on and can hopefully help her regain a lot.
We were hoping to take a summer vacation this year with our newly adopted daughter (Bree) and since we didn't take one last year we haven't been on one with Lindsey yet either, but I don't think it will work out unless we can get Bree's seizures under control. It's not just her health we are concerned with, the bills keep coming in and I'm just not sure we an afford to go anywhere. We can maybe take the kids to a state park or something like that for a day or two.
