And just about home. We are stopping for a rest, with about 45 minutes left until we get back home. Bree finally decided she was hungry. Thank goodness. We will return to Augusta on September 9th to get her test results, and let the doctors see how she is doing but the doctor has assured me that it won't be an every two weeks thing. Maybe once a month for awhile. Her appointment for the EEG is September 10th and I have to keep her up all night on September 9th. Oh joy, I remember the first one we did. What a disaster. She went into status epileticus.
The MRI this morning was almost a disaster. They didn't let me go back with her, stating that if she got upset, then they would come get me. This was a more in-depth MRI and would take longer then her first brain MRI. Well, she fell asleep during it and had a seizure. Poor girl. It was cool for them, even helpful because now they have one of her seizures actually on a brain scan but not so cool for her. Opening her eyes once the after effects of the seizure wore off and seeing some strange man looking down at her, not her mom or one of her sisters, scared her. Maybe if a female nurse or staff member had been tending to her she would have not gotten as panicky. They continued the test however, then did the MRI scan of her abdomen to make sure there were no tumors on her pancreas, but we do not have any of those results as of now.
Well I will update more later. We want to eat and get home now.
