Happy Halloween

It has been a rough past few days.... so that's why no updates. I've just been busy and tired. Bree hasn't been doing so well - a lot of seizures and then after she had a seizure last night around midnight she remained unconscious until just after 1 pm today. That's more then 13 hours. Lil Bee came and stayed with her and helped out and I'm so thankful for that. It's so helpful to have our newly graduated nurse friend helping us out. I was able to get out with the other two girls and run some errands. Plus Bree loves her. I feel more at ease knowing a nurse is on duty if I'm not at home. Lil Bee may be young, just 21 - but she is very knowledgeable and very caring. A great girl. We picked up some new nail polish and other fun stuff at wal-mart and Lil Bee gave Bree a manicure when we got home with it. Just like any teen girl Bree loves stuff like that. When she was more alert she and her sisters made some Halloween cupcakes. Well they baked and Bree decorated. She is smiling and happy now, although she isn't necessarily as with it as she should be, she is able to smile and talk to us and she is writing in her journal now. We are hoping and praying that when she has her vagus nerve surgery on Nov 17th that we'll see a world of difference.
