Sorry for lack of posting and updates - been pretty busy with Bree. She wasn't doing so good last week and especially over the weekend as the trial date approached. Especially on Friday she had seizures just about every hour. But she did amazingly well when she testifed on Monday and I am so proud of her. She was so scared, but so brave. She sat there pretty much the whole day, too - through the testimony of her doctors and her therapist and other as well - I had to testify too. It was pretty heart breaking. I had to hear a lot of things I did not know, that she has never been able to open up to me yet.
Bree stayed home with one of my older daughter's yesterday but the jury returned a guilty verdict late yesterday afternoon. Justice! Now all that's left is the judge's sentencing.
Bree had a rough night last night. She kept waking up to make sure I was still with her. She wanted me to stay in the room with her last night, the poor girl. But she was excited that before I came home from court, she had found 28 four leaf clovers. Wow! what a lucky girl.
