Home!

We are home... got home yesterday! Only to be faced with the possibility of 6-12 inches of SNOW. Bree faces a lot of physical, occupational, and speech therapy. She has weakness on the right side of her body which is her dominant side. She is using a walker for now to get around which she isn't that thrilled with. "For old people," she informed me. She struggles even more with speech now, and memory. But she is alive and that's what counts. Today she greeted her physical therapist with a smile and hug and said "I'm ready!" And she tried everything they asked, without once saying "No!" or "I can't!" I am so proud of her. She remains cheerful and determined and she is practicing speech right now with Lil Bee. I have no doubt she will make great strides in her therapy and will be walking again on her own in no time and her speech will improve greatly to where she can speak in more then 3 or 4 word sentences. Things are looking up now.
