Bree just got over bronchitis last week. Now she is running a low grade fever of 99 (in her this IS a fever because her temp runs in the 97's normally) and says her throat hurts. I can't have her sick again poor girl. So before she goes to bed I'll give her some cold meds and hope it won't interact with her seizure meds. It's hard to know what to do sometimes. She had her tonsils out last year and the surgeon promised this is the end of sore throats. Obviously not, doc! Hopefully it's just a cold. She was exposed to my sister who had a severe cold/flu.
The temps are cold here too. 18 right now and expected to dip even colder. Single digits with wind chills below zero. People hear we live in the south and say "I thought the south was warm!" But we live in an area where we get 4 seasons. Here in the mountains it does get cold.
