And we did NOT make it up till 12:00 am. How sad... but we were all so tired. Ginger ale in champagne glasses as per our yearly tradition (the girls LOVE this and look forward to it) and reflecting it's Bree's first New Year's with us as an officially adopted girl, but we were all tucked in our warm beds at midnight. Bree is usually worn out and out like a light anyway because of her seizures. But she wanted to greet the new decade. Well, there is always next year to ring in a new year. She was seizure free today, I am so thankful. But she is growing confused and tired now so I'm afraid she won't be so lucky tonight. It is supposed to be very cold tonight, and not even get out of the 20's tomorrow. Yes this IS the south but we are prone to cold snaps too. It will be wonderful to snuggle up tonight to stay warm. And the next few nights we will be in the teens. The start of the year will be brutal!
Everyone seems to be doing well now. Linds and Allie go back to school Monday and they are NOT looking forward to it.
