A happy girl

Bree is very, very happy. Why? Because after Physical Therapy today, I stopped at Walmart and bought her a pink Nintendo DS and Brain age game, as was recommended by her Neurologist. Actually it's a "Metallic rose" according to Bree. There is a warning about Epilepsy and Seizures on the box but, her neurologist recommended this and I'll just have to watch her very close. I have read through the Brain age book and it does look like it will help her tremendously, with her memory and her traumatic brain injury. She is now re-reading her instruction book and is anxious for the system to charge so she can try. I hope this helps her out. It is going to be a rainy stormy day so this will be something great for her to do this afternoon. And keep her inside, she does love to get out and dance in the rain! No complaints though, I just love to watch her do something she enjoys.
If she does okay on this game, and she doesn't have increased seizures, then there is a Brain Age 2 game I can get her for Christmas. I am sure there are other games too. Just to have something she can enjoy and that is therapeutic is wonderful.
