Well, two bottles of liquid plumber, three bottles of draino, and countless applications of baking soda and vinegar (a tip found online) later, our kitchen sink is still clogged. Thankfully Rick didn't take it apart while Bree and I were gone. We're waiting for the plumber to arrive. I need to leave soon to take Bree to PT so we'll see what damage the men do while I'm gone.
Bree is doing better this morning. She is actually having a good day so far. She had 4 seizures last night - but she has been having between 7 and 10 or even more so this is progress. The doctor increased her dose of depakote and klonopin again. But he really is pushing the surgery now. She wasn't doing well yesterday. But this morning she has eaten breakfast, she got up at 8 all on her own, is smiling and talkative and isn't complaining about leaving for physical therapy in about 15 minutes so these are all very, very good things. Lil Bee spent the night with her last night so perhaps that helped. She has not had a seizure since around 5 am so I'm very hopeful that she will have a great day today. I know it's too soon for the increase in dose of meds to have any affect on her - but if she can have more days like this her quality of life will be so much better. I will talk to her more later about the surgery possibility. She goes back to the doctor again in two weeks.
