A horrible day.

I'm sorry I didn't update sooner. Yesterday was a horrible day. Bree had an awful seizure during the EEG. She had the worst one she has ever had. It terrified me. It's so hard when your kids are struggling. Just about anything that can happen during a seizure happened to my little girl. She stopped breathing long enough for her oxygen saturation to drop enough to require oxygen. They paged her doctor and he came in to check her. And then, after her seizure she was unconscious and unresponsive for about 9 hours. She didn't respond to voices. It's normal for someone to be unconscious after a seizure, but they usually aren't out as long as she was.
The doctors really don't have answers yet. And she had 2 more seizures throughout the day while unconscious. She was hooked up to the EEG monitoring.
When she did finally wake up she was very confused. Concerned about where her clothes were (The nurses had to change her) where she was, why it was five 'o clock in the afternoon when she had only just fallen asleep at 8 am. She had trouble feeding herself so she wouldn't eat at all. She didn't want me to feed her. And worse they wouldn't let her out of bed and she didn't want to use the bedpan so it was a struggle to get her to do that.
So here we are, her first full day of 24 hour monitoring. They'll come in later to run some more tests on her. I'm watching her play with her food and NOT eat her breakfast. She had 2 seizures over night. How much more can she take?
